Go to Settings using the link in the left sidebar. The settings landing page is a grid of cards — click any card to open that section.
Firm details
Your business's public-facing details: business name, ABN, address, phone number, and licence number (if your trade requires one). These values appear on every invoice, quote, and report you generate. Also contains the GST registration toggle — tick this if your business is registered for GST (required once your annual turnover exceeds $75,000).
Appointment types
Short codes and labels for the kinds of work you do (e.g. "Initial Consultation", "Follow-up Visit", "Quote"). Each type gets a colour that shows on the calendar. You can add your own, edit existing ones, and archive types you no longer use. Archived types disappear from new-job forms but remain on historical records.
Business hours
Set the days and hours your business operates. The calendar shades non-operating slots and warns if a job is booked outside these hours. See Setting your business hours for full instructions.
Team
Invite staff, manage roles (Owner / Admin / Technician), and cancel pending invites. See Inviting your team for full instructions.
Follow-up rules
Create and manage rules that drive the AI follow-up drafting system. Each rule defines a time window, applicable appointment types, a message prompt, and a channel (SMS or email). See Following up with customers for full instructions.
Follow-ups
Configure auto-trigger thresholds: unanswered SMS, stale quotes, missing paperwork, and review requests. Also where you set your Google Review link for the review-request trigger.
SMS Bridge
If you're using Avro's SMS feature from an Android device, this is where you bind your phone as the SMS gateway. Mint a security token, check bridge health, and rotate credentials if needed. Only relevant if you have the SMS bridge set up.
Payments
Connect your Stripe account to enable online card payments on invoices. Once connected, the "Pay Now" button appears on invoice links sent to customers. See Sending an invoice for context. You can also disconnect or reconnect your Stripe account here.
Connectors
Connect Google Calendar and Gmail. Manage the sync status of connected accounts, view import summaries, review unmatched imported items, and disconnect accounts. See Connecting Google Calendar and Gmail for full instructions.
Calendar subscriptions
Subscribe to your Avro jobs from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook. Avro provides a private iCal feed URL — add it to your calendar app and your Avro jobs appear as read-only events. Useful if you prefer to view your schedule in Google Calendar rather than (or in addition to) Avro's built-in calendar.
Report templates
Customise the structured templates used for inspection and service reports. You can fork (copy) Avro's default templates and modify them — add fields, reorder sections, or change labels. Custom templates you create are yours to manage. Industry-specific templates (for example, pest-control termite reports) may appear here if you have the relevant plug-in installed.
Chemicals and stock
Available for trades that manage product inventory (e.g. pest control operators). Track what you have on hand, log stock adjustments, and set low-stock thresholds. May only be visible depending on your industry and plug-in configuration.
Plugin API Keys
If you use third-party tools or integrations that connect to Avro via the Plugin API, this is where you manage the API keys those tools use. You can mint new keys, rotate existing ones, and revoke access. Not needed unless you're setting up an external integration.
Billing
View and manage your subscription: current plan, next billing date, active plug-ins, and payment method. Upgrade to Pro or manage your Stripe billing (receipts, card updates, cancellation). See Managing your plan, plug-ins, and billing for full details.
Common questions
I can't find a setting I'm looking for. Some settings only appear for certain industries or require a plug-in to be installed. If you expect to see something that isn't there, check Settings > Billing to ensure your plan includes it, or Settings > Plugins to see if a relevant plug-in is available.
Can I export my data from Avro? Data export is not available in the current version. Contact support if you need a data extract.
