What you'll do

By the end of this page you'll have a working account, your business details entered, and a clear picture of where everything lives.

Steps

  1. Sign up at avro-ai.com. Enter your email address and create a password. You'll be taken straight to the setup screen — no email verification required first.

  2. Name your business and pick your industry. On the "Set up your business" screen, type your business name, your full name, and select your industry from the dropdown (pest control, cleaning, hairdressing, lawn care, and so on). Hit "Create business" and Avro sets up your account.

  3. Connect your calendar and email (optional but recommended). The next screen is the import wizard. You can connect Google Calendar to pull in your existing appointments, and Gmail to import past client conversations. Both steps are optional — hit "Skip" on either one if you'd rather start fresh. You can always connect them later from Settings > Connectors.

  4. Land on the dashboard. Once you finish the wizard you'll arrive at your dashboard. This is your home screen. It shows today's jobs, outstanding invoices, pending quotes, an AI summary of what needs attention, and a 7-day weather forecast (handy for field-based trades).

  5. Fill in your firm details. Go to Settings > Firm details and enter your ABN, address, phone number, and any licence number that applies to your trade. These details appear on every invoice, quote, and report you send to customers.

  6. Add your first appointment type. Go to Settings > Appointment types. Avro seeds a few defaults based on your industry. You can rename them, add your own, and assign colours. These types appear on jobs and in the calendar.

  7. You're ready. Head back to the dashboard and start adding clients and jobs.

Common questions

Do I need to connect Google Calendar to use Avro? No. Avro works fully without it. Connecting Google Calendar just imports your existing history so you're not starting from a blank slate.

Can I change my business name later? Yes. Go to Settings > Firm details at any time.

What's the difference between the Pro plan and the free plan? The free plan covers a limited number of staff seats and core features. The Pro plan (AUD $99/month) unlocks unlimited staff, advanced reporting, and the ability to install paid plug-ins. You can upgrade at any time from Settings > Billing.

Can I have more than one business in the same account? Not currently. Each Avro account is one business. If you operate multiple businesses, you'll need a separate account for each.
